1. Scope

The current website uses first-party local storage rather than advertising or analytics cookies. Local storage keeps small values in your browser and, like cookies, can be removed through your browser settings.

2. Storage We Use

The website currently stores only the following first-party values: • cloudie-lang — remembers the language you select. • cloudie-theme — remembers the light or dark color theme you select. • cloudie-cookies — stores the necessary-only acknowledgement, notice version, acknowledgement and expiry times, and the random Firestore record ID for up to 12 months so the notice is not shown on every visit. • rate_limit_contact and rate_limit_career — store the time of a successful form submission to prevent rapid repeat submissions. These values do not create a cross-site advertising profile and are not used to track you across other websites.

3. Why Consent Is Not Requested

The listed values are used to provide settings you explicitly request, remember this notice, or protect forms and website operation. Under Section 7¹(2) of Latvia's Information Society Services Law, storage that is necessary to provide a service requested by the user does not require consent, although clear information must still be provided. The notice therefore has an acknowledgement button rather than misleading accept/reject choices. Selecting Understood records acknowledgement of the notice; it does not grant consent to analytics, advertising, or tracking.

4. No Analytics or Advertising Storage

We currently do not use analytics, advertising, social-media, profiling, or other optional tracking cookies or browser storage. If that changes, we will update this policy and request your prior, freely given consent before any optional storage is placed or read. Refusing or later withdrawing such consent will be as easy as giving it and will not affect necessary website functions.

5. Storage Periods

cloudie-lang and cloudie-theme remain until you change the relevant setting or clear the website's stored data in your browser. cloudie-cookies and the related Firebase acknowledgement record expire after no more than 12 months. The form-protection timestamps may remain in local storage until cleared, but the website stops using each timestamp to block another submission after 60 seconds.

6. Managing Browser Storage

You can inspect or delete the website's cookies and local storage through your browser's privacy or site-data settings. Deleting cloudie-lang or cloudie-theme resets the related preference; deleting cloudie-cookies makes the storage notice appear again. Blocking all local storage may prevent preferences and form protection from working as intended. The button below reopens the notice but does not itself delete other stored values.

7. Service Providers and Other Data

The site does not intentionally place third-party cookies. When you select Understood, Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore receives a record containing only the record type, necessary-only choice, notice version, interface language, server creation time, and expiry time. The Firestore document ID is stored locally as a receipt. The record does not include your name, email address, user agent, page URL, or a persistent visitor identifier. Firebase and our hosting providers may still process ordinary connection data as described in the Privacy Policy. Links to external websites are governed by those websites' own cookie and privacy policies.

8. Changes and Contact
